Corn Silk

When you get whole corns, don't throw away corn silks. They are not only super yummy but also have lots of health benefits like improving blood sugar levels and reducing inflammation in your body.

You can make corn silk tea by simmering 1TBS chopped corn silk and 1 cup of water. You do not need to precook the silk, but I like to roast them over the cast iron first before making a tea.

Pan-fried corn silks are a great snack as is, but you can add them in the soup or over green salads.
